SCHOOL POLICIES
CLASS MAKE-UP POLICY- All students
have the option of making up missed classes by attending a class similar to their own.
Report to the reception area to check on our schedule or ask your teacher about a
compatible class.
REFUNDS AND CREDITS- refunds or credits are not given for missed classes. If you are
injured and have missed an entire month due to that injury, or sickness, we will credit
you for that month. You must have missed the entire month in order for you to be credited
and a doctor's note will be required. No exceptions.
SCHOOL CLOSINGS AND CANCELLATIONS- School closings due to inclement weather will be
announced on radio station WJRZ and WOBM. Cancellations due to an extreme emergency will
be handled by phone. School will be closed for Thankdsgiveing, Christmas, Easter and
Memorial Day Weekend. Dates will be posted on the bulletin board.
TEACHERS AND ASSISTANTS- When teachers are not able to teach due to illness or a personal
emergency, they will be replaced by a competent teacher. However, if the teacher uses an
assistant to help, they will be present in class to help the substitute teacher.
PLACEMENT IN CLASSES- All students will be placed in a suited class for their level of
training, age, and ability by the directors and teachers of The Rehearsal Hall, Inc. If
your child has been placed in the wrong class- WE WILL LET YOU KNOW!
DANCEWEAR AND HAIR POLICY- MANDATORY FOR ALL STUDENTS
BALLET- Pink tights, black or pink leotards and pink ballet shoes, hair in a bun. THESE RULES ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL BALLET CLASSES.
JAZZ- Jazz shoes / dancewear only.
TAP- Tap shoes- ask teacher for appropriate style for your ability.
ACROBATIC- Leotard or unitard only, stirrup tights and white
acro shoes.
ALL OTHER CLASSES - DANCEWEAR MUST BE WORN
Absolutely no street clothes will be allowed for any class taken. Hair must be worn away
from the face. No jewelry.
PAYMENT POLICY
$10.00 Registration Fee Per Student
*On your first lesson day, the first month and
December's payment will be due. On your first lesson in January, you will be asked to pay
January and June's tuition. All other months will be due the first week of eadh month. A
$5.00 late charge will be automatically added to your payment after the 10th of each
month. If payment is not received by then, you will be sent a bill with the appropriate
amount to pay including the late fee. All monies given in advance for December and June
will be refunded if you quit dance and do not take class in those months at all.
*A family plan is available, as well as a two part payment plan- 1st week, one-half
tuition- 3rd week, balance due. We will work with you if you are have a financial problem.
Please let us know, and we will set up a special payment plan for you.
*Just add up the amount of hours per week you will be taking class and follow the chart
below:
1st Hour Per Week.................................$40.00 per month
2nd Hour Per Week ...............................$20.00 per month
(Each additional hour per week is $20.00 per month)
FAMILY PLAN PRICE CHART (For 1 Hour Per Week, must be living with you)
1st Student- $40.00
2nd Student- $35.00
Each Additional Student- $20.00
