Shannon Cooper-Harris - artistic director, vocal coach, songwriter & producer

SHANNON COOPER-HARRIS- member of BMI and NARAS. Shannon is founder of   "Talentzone Corp." and The Miss Talentzone Pageants, and artistic director here at The Zone. She teaches voice & vocal performance in a variety of styles ranging from classical opera & Broadway to Country & Pop. For the professional minded student, Shannon is very interested in managing and producing up- and -coming stars and works closely with C & R Management. (Ann Marie Cassar - President of C & R and instrumental in starting such careers as Bruce Springsteen.) Shannon was also a Hip-Hop Jazz and Lyrical instructor at The Rehearsal Hall in Manahawkin. BANDS

BABYDOLL- 3 girl recording group on BAM records- popular in Japan. They performed throughout Florida and at "The Motown Cafe" in NYC and "Tribecca" here in Jersey City, New Jersey in 1997. BABYDOLL recorded two singles entitled, "No Matter" and "I'll Be Your Babydoll". Coincidentally, Shannon used to introduce current pop diva Christina Aguillera of "Genie in a Bottle" fame. (they toured together in 1997)
FORTUNE ORCHESTRA-. North Jersey, New York based wedding band playing Top 40, Standards, 50's, 60's etc. Visit their website to hear a clip from the song "Forever" co-written by Shannon on Fortune's 1999 release on Romeo Records.
MASQUERADE- high energy Top 40 Dance band with two girl front and massive hip-hop choreography for which Shannon was responsible.
FUNNESSE- Top 40 road band touring the U.S. playing hotels and casinos. Other road bands Shannon has served as lead singer and choreographer for are Savoir Faire, Citykids & Imposter.

RECORDING
Shannon recorded lead and background vocals for the released Broadway CD for Bobby Morganstein Productions out of Philadelphia. She also wrote and produced 7 original songs on the BMP Creative CD. Both CD's can be ordered at BMP or are available at Tower Records. It was this project which acquired her voting member status in NARAS. (National Academy of Recorded Arts & Sciences - alias The Grammy Association) Shannon is at home as an engineer and producer with a basic home MIDI studio or 48-trk 2 inch tape machine.While recording her own original Top 40 Style demos at Stardust, & Reel Platinum; she was recognized and produced by Jim Wisner- (now President of NARAS- the Grammy Association) "The Wiz" who produced The Four Tops, and The Temptations.

RADIO/TELEVISION

Most recently you may have seen Shannon as "Cinnamon Spice" on MTV's "Wanna Be A Spice Girl" show which aired in June and July of 1998. 250 "wannabe" Spice Girls and Spice Guys strutted their stuff at the preliminary auditions in Seaside Heights, NJ. The top 10 finalists (including "Cinnamon Spice") were filmed at the MTV beach house also in Seaside.

1999- Spokesmodel for Callerimi GMC Truck Center in Budd Lake
1998-Shannon recorded six commercials for Cerami Pontiac in Paramus, NJ as one of two official spokesmodels. She is also currently featured in the Livron Vitamin commercial.

On local New Jersey radio station WJRZ you can hear commercial jingles Shannon wrote and produced such as TV Today, Ocean County Journal (1998), Zonenetlink (1997) and Wedding Wonderland.(1996)

EDUCATION
Shannon was a Dance Major/Voice Minor on scholarship at the fine arts college Oklahoma City University.She has performed many lead and chorus-dancer parts in summer stock- & theatre companies including Pax Amicas & UCEA here in New Jersey where she played the part of "Sheila" in "A Chorus Line".

CHOREOGRAPHY
This past August 1999, Shannon choreographed "The Miss Hawaiian Tropic Pageant" at The Trump Marina in Atlantic City. She also sang "I Will Survive" and performed a number with her dancers to the classic favorite "SHOUT". This was Shannon's second year as choreographer for Hawaiian Tropic. She also choreographs the "Mrs. New Jersey America Pageant" and "The Miss Trump Style International Pageant."

Scott Harris- MIDI instructor, head studio engineer, songwriter & producer

Scott is CEO & Webmaster for THE ZONE. In addition Scott
acts as chief recording engineer, MIDI programmer, vocal stylist, keyboardist, songwriter & producer and is a teacher for all of these.

Scott has shopped many packages for record deals over the years
and as a result has secured many record company contacts including Atlantic, RCA, Arista, Big Beat, Next Plateau, MicMac &
Metropolitan to name a few. He is currently producing a package
with Joe Friday and is ready, willing and able to help you or your
band do the same. Inquire about demo.

Has over ten years experience building, repairing, and troubleshooting IBM PC's and clones; networking and server administration in both Windows NT 4.0 and Novell; authoring and developing internet and intranet sites using Perl, Active X, JAVA, Perform, CGI, VB Scripting and interactive databases and mail servers. Adam Niedzwiecki- electric and acoustic guitar instructor

Adam is THE ZONE'S guitar & bass teacher. He has done
extensive studio work and has been teaching in New Jersey for
the past eight years. Adam is also the head of our art department
and is currently designing THE ZONE'S newsletter comic book
which will be available this fall.

Adam was also in the Jazx Band Ensemble when he attended
Berklee College of Music.

Adam enjoys, plays, and teaches all styles of electric and
acoustic guitar and in response to his playing most people
just say 'WOW!!"

Carol Cooper- opera & oratorio vocal coach, piano instructor

carol.gif (32802 bytes) Carol has a B.A. in Communications from Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma. She minored in Music and Vocal performance and attended other fine universities such as Oklahoma City University where she was piano accompanist for 1984 Miss America - Susan Powell. Carol also studied music at the County College of Morris right here in New Jersey. Her latest achievement is being named to AOL's  Voice Chorale which will perform "The Requium" at Carnegie Hall on November 29, 1998. Carol is one of the newest of 150 voices for the America Online Choir selected from thousands of possible applicants.
